Today I went to the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) at Federation Square. It's in a really cool building. I uploaded some pictures. I realized that I know nothing about Australian art. Be it the aboriginal art or the European. Nothing, zero, zilch, nada. There seems to have been something missing from my Art History class. Have fallen in love with a painter named Aby Altson. Need to look him up. Reminds me on Singer-Sargetn. The Aboriginal Art is fascianting. Every piece seems to tell a story or a dream. I don't know if that is true. Need to take the tour.
Heute war ich in der National Gallerie von Victoria (NGV) am Federation Square. Ist ein total cooles Gebäude. Ich habe ein paar Bilder hochgeladen. I mußte zu meinem Entsetzen feststellen, daß ich nichts übe Australische Kunst weiß. Sei es Aboriginal oder Europäische. Nix, null, nada. Da fehlte doch was in meinem Kunstgeschichte Kurs. Habe mich total in einen Maler namens Aby Altson verguckt. Erinnert an Singer-Sargent. Die Eingeborenen Kunst ist faszinierend. Jedes Stück scheint eine Geschichte oder einen Traum zu erzählen. Bin ich mir allerdings nicht ganz sicher. Muß  mal die Führung mitmachen.

After that I walked around the city for a bit until I took the tram home. I've uploaded some pictures for that, too. It's good to be back in a real city.
Danach bin ich ein bißchen in der Stadt rumgelaufen bevor ich mit der S-Bahn nach Hause gedüst bin. Habe da auch ein paar Bilder hochgeladen. Es ist gut wieder in einer richtigen Stadt zu sein.
