Our night bus left at 10:30pm and got into Hat Yai in the morning. As comfortable as the bus was, it was a relatively short journey as the crow flies, to make it last the night the driver kept stopping, doing passport stuff and for food and breaks and every time blasted the lights and music, we had very little sleep and were exhausted by the time got there.
We arrived here and stuck to the plan, we have been here many times and because of our time scale and going back for the weddings we went straight to Puda Raya bus station and got a night bus straight to Thailand. We spent the day at Central Market and enjoyed reminiscing the last time we were there, the place had been built up since we were last here and we stayed to watch a show of dancers dancing with little tea lights, it almost felt like the dancing in the shows in Bali, but this was much more Muslim with the music and head scarves and outfits. It was amazing! We had what would be some of our last Malay Indian food for a while and breathed in every last bit of KL.
