Hi All
Well after a hectic week with all the family, some departed on Friday but the remaining on Saturday. I am now in Castlebar with the remaining 5, I head back to Kilkenny later today and view a potential b&b and then head to one of my favourite cities - Dublin for the remainder of my time here.
The week in Killarney was a great relaxing time and we all had enough time to catch up with everyone's news and goings on. Of course the fridge had more alcohol in it than food - and that food was all for cooked breakfasts! We all did manage to take turns in cooking for the masses - I did my speciality of toad-in-the-hole; due to the size of the tins then it was in 3 sittings, so it took nearly all evening, and several glasses of red wine.
I had a great drive to here yesterday - a total of 6 1/2 hrs as I did a detour around part of Connemara. I had the company of my niece all the way which was great. Last night I went out with Liam and Evelyn and we watched the awful performance of the England team against the French - we better improve for the World Cup or I shall be sorely disappointed.
Take Care
