Itinerary:
SF to Inchon Korea
No activity/layover
Inchon Korea to Singapore
10 hours on the ground. Singapore is famous for its market cuisine. We will be there late, but rumor has it that good eats can be found at any time of night
Singapore to Hanoi Vietnam
Estimated 3 weeks of travel down the length of the country. Of special interest are historical sites such as the DMZ museum, and American (Vietnam) War museum. We plan to visit the beautiful and world famous Halong Bay.

And of course...any good beach will be an invitation for us to sit there and do nothing.
While not exactly planned as a culinary tour, these two foodies are going to do our best to experience the local cuisines.
Vietnam to Cambodia
When we reach the Southernmost tip of Vietnam we will head to Cambodia. We plan on visiting the capital Phnom Penh.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phnom_Penh
We are especially interested in the National Museum
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Museum,_Phnom_Penh
and the Genocide Museum
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuol_Sleng
After the Capital we will head to the ancient stone city of Angor Wat.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angkor_Wat
How we get there is still up in the air. We may be taking a river boat up the Tonle Sap river.
Cambodia to Thailand to Laos.
We will travel through Thailand to visit Vientiane the capital of Laos. We haven't fleshed out the details of this leg of the trip yet.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vientiane
And finally we are going to spend at least 4 days in Bangkok Thailand before flying home. My guess is that we'll end up on a beach before long.
So that is a rough itinerary. We plan to be very fluid and are ready to play it by ear most of the time.
Enjoy our trip with us!
