Punta Arenas - The empty city :) We got to Punta Arenas at Christmas eve the streets was empty, the stores was closed and the birds stopped singing... At Punta Arenas we slept at 21 years old couple with a little baby girl, they were so nice to us. they did a Christmas dinner so they asked everybody who wonted to join to pay a minimal price and they made a big dinner - with meat no one could cut with a knife or chew... but it was a nice gesture and after dinner they gave everybody in the hostel - who were Israelis too - presents - chocolate, It was very exciting.
there are 150000 penguins on this island - AMAZING!!! when you come near to a penguin the start to play with you and nod their head from side to side and it is so funny and cute - like little people :)
