Hrm...I just typed a big long text and then my computer crashed :( That's no fun...I guess I'll have to start saving my texts while typing....Anyhow...first a picture of Orosi:

Yesterday I came to realize how much Spanish I already know....it's not much...but still I can say more things than I imagined. The family I'm staying at is really helpful at learning me Spanish as well.
Two days ago at the airport I withdrew some money from my checking account. I thought 3000 colones would be good enough, but I noticed that I was spending a lot. Yesterday I got a better hang of how much the Costa Rica colone is worth. 3000 colones is about 5 euro 17...which is not much :P I also discovered that there is a bank is Costa Rica now! Which is pretty nice because I did not count on that. My Postbank Cirrus/Maesto card works, which is really neat because now I can withdraw money in a cheap way (in comparison to withdrawing money using VISA).
Yesterday I also had my first lesson. I have my own private teacher! :D Her name is Margot. She's been going through quite a lot of things. We've mostly been speaking Spanish with me asking quite a few times what she's trying to say :P Still...it's a good way of learning Spanish. I got a BIG study book (which is only the first part of the two books). For today my homework is learning the numbers and all the information-gathering questions (what, how, etc). My next lesson will start today at 3 pm and last till 6 pm. Looking forward to it already.
Yesterdaynight Jeremy (son of the family where I'm living) also told me there was a party at Montana Linda..he called another friend (Adrian) and we went there. It was a latin dancing party! It turned out that my Spanish teacher Margot is also the Latin Dancing teaching so I've had my first lesson on that as well :P It's fun...but I do need to get used to normal rhytms compared to the strange music I usually listen to. Friday there's another dancing lesson...I'll guess I'll go visit that one as well. I think at the end of staying here for one month I'll have learned a lot of new things! :D
Anyhow...signing off here.....hasta luego!
