We loved it! We went here for our 5 year anniversary. and it was exactly what we were looking for. Small, quiet, & unique and can't wait to go back. The resort furniture was made out of Bamboo and island pine and interesting artifacts from Copan, neat! Brian, Jordan, Carolina and Martha all treated us like friends, not just like regular guests in some huge resort. It felt more personal. Like everyone had been raving about, the cooking was to die for! Jazz on the beach under the stars with a bond fire, right out of some Robinson Crusoe chapter. When Brian wasn't on duty bartending it was Carolina. Each have their own specialty drinks, tiki type island concoctions. We stayed in the hillside cabana with a wonderful view of the ocean, simple marvelous! We had the front view of the reef and the room was clean and just perfect. There are fans in the rooms and great drinking water comes from a mountain spring.
We got the Dive package Brian is definitely the man for this, he did a superb job! fun! Guanaja we'd say was the best diving we've ever done!

Overall, after all the other resorts we saw and heard about on the island, I wouldn't trade it for our time we had at The Guanaja Island Club. And we got lucky that it didn't rain a single day. Because of the experience at Guanaja Island Club, it's the 1st place we've said that we definitely want to visit again
