Set in between rolling hills lies the Dragon Backbone rice terraces which was one of the most beautiful places we have seen in China. An architeqtural feat as the terraces were everywhere and covered the mountains all the way to the peaks.

One of a handful of hotels that we stayed at not in close proximity to a Karaoke bar or nightclub we nevertheless woke up to early morning exercise music blasted on the PA system of the local school next door.
