Sanjiang's claim to fame is the Dong village nearby where they built a 76 metre bridge with no nails. It took 12 years to build and has been turned into one long shopping bridge. Because of this they have also layed out a hefty entrance fee to enter into this village which was easily avoided (should of) if you went in the other entrance.
What I don't get though are hotels that think they are international by having a cluster of clocks above the reception desk with places such as London, Paris and Rome. Now why would I want to know what time it was in Rome when I'm in a minority village? That's besides the fact that the times were either wrong or the clocks didn't even work.
