We arrived late afternoon and watched the moon reveal it self, it was indeed a new full moon and very very bright. Although there were only 3 karaoke bars in this tiny village, we annoyingly had to stay between them all. Anyhow waking up early in the morning was not an issue and we headed up to the town square for their weekly market day. Because everyone was from the same minority group no one bothered to dress up in traditional gear, doh!, but it was bustling and interesting enough with an open air meat market with blood spilling the streets, people selling their hand pulled noodles and an electronics salesmen blasting hard techno music on his little boom box. Honeycombs were on the table and we were offered a taste of the larvae still in the honeycombs, we declined.

I would like to point out a few quick facts that we I have discovered along the way:

*Chinese men smoke 24/7 and they rarely even use their hands to do so
*tomatoes are considered a fruit and used on cakes and in fruit salads
*moon cakes are not just savoury but also sweet and fruity flavours are avaliable
*everything is negotiable
*no matter where you are in China there is always a Karaoke bar nearby
*In regards to chip packet colouring, green is for cucumber and not chicken, purple is not salt and vinegar but a funky taste flavour 01 What part of the pig do you prefer?

.
*diapers are not used and all the kids wear crack pants. Crack pants are pants that have *sewn slits for easy access to pee and dump.
*chilli is an ingredient in 90 percent of the dishes
*meat is a garnish for vegetables
*chinese food is generally pretty bad
*abundant oil and msg are essential for every meal
*China seems to be getting a make over with new roads and tunnels being built everywhere
