Leavig Utila I headed off to the capital of Honduras to make my way down south as fast as I could. Having realised to I had only a months time to get to Panama I knew it was cutting abit fine. Stayed in a beautiful place near the bus terminal in Tegulcigalpa (a 6 hour bus ride that was stinking hot got us there all sweaty). Cable TV was a treat, and the fact that I could have a hot shower (first one in weeks) was heaven! I was travelling with a group of people who came off the boat from Utila aswell and we went to one of the local ¨hot spots¨where we enjoyed the special of the day (kebabs, rice, salad and tortilla...YUM!) and were lucky to enjoy their weekly karaoke contest. Had my spanish been just a little bit better then no doubt I would´ve been up there, but alas I had to just join in with the crowd. It was a really cool atmosphere and although we were enjoying immensely we decided to head back to the other side of town where a comfortable bed and cable tv was waiting to be used! Our last night in Honduras was quite relaxed, ready for the next stop Managua, Nicaragua.....can´t wait.
