Ok starting at 8am instead I was off for La Ceiba on a mission to get to Utila island by the close of business today. Bus number 2 took 3 1/4 hours instead of 2 1/2 and bus number 3 took 3 1/2 instead of 3. So being a total of an 1 1/4 hours late I arrived in La Ceiba at 5ish in which I was supposed to catch the 4pm ferry to Utila......not happening. La Ceiba is a big city, well considering I`ve been in the sticks for awhile it seems big. The streets lined with market stalls which was closing up when I got here, and the constant beeping of cars signalling that you were in fact not in kansas anymore. The people, predominately black, are friendly and have less intrusive eyes as the rest of Honduras that I have experienced.

Had a look at a few hotels and checked into the Hotel San Jose or Bakery San Jose y Hotel. As you walk through the shop front you pass a room where the bread is cooled off by an industrial fan, the next room is where baking is done and finally you go up 3 flights of stairs into your own room with private bathroom, bonus. Think I`ll get some bread before tomorrows Boat ride.

Heading into town to find some action, well atleast to find a beer as I really feel like one. Wish me luck!
