The trip home was a quick and enjoyable one. Stopping off at Coban for breakfast and for a quick walkaround we had some how mistimed the trip again as the big church in town was closed for renovations but we did get to see another one high on top of the hills with a lovely view of Coban. Doing numerous stops to take photoson the way home we eventually made it to Biotopa de Quetzal which is a reserve full of wildlife, exotic plants and one of the last remaining areas where the national bird Quetzal lives. The walk was peaceful and the air was clean. No animals were seen except for Ricardo who made Quetzal sounds in the bush!
Back in Antigua now and just getting ready to have my last day of salsa and book tickets to Copan in Honduras! It's been a long time coming.......
