OK So the wound has been healing up really well and the doctor says that I don't need stitches. YAY!
It's abit quiet in town and I've basically gone salsa crazy with 7hrs of class this week and another 10 hrs of class signed up for next week. Yes I'm to lazy and I can't get a move on from this town. However it leaves me time to do some work with Habitat For Humanity in the mornings and help out, thats assuming they haven't finished building the house already!
We also celebrated Carolina's (our homestay mum) birthday today at lunch, she turned 64. You wouldn't guess it as she looks alot younger then her age. She got dressed up and we surprised her with cakes, candles and ice cream! Haven't had icecream for ages and needless to say I wasn't shy. One of the guys bought a Happy Birthday banner for her and she was smiling so much that she lit up the room.
The spanish is improving slowly but it's still abit of a struggle at the moment.
Anyhow thats all for now as I have a salsa lesson in 15 minutes. Hope all is well back home.
