Today we got to Swakopmund.  This is a gorgeous city in Namibia that is right on the beach.  We stopped on the way here at a seal colony that had thousands of seal basking on the beach.  The smell was brutal but the sight was incredible.  There were mom and baby seals everywhere!

Here there is the opportunity to do a bunch of different activities like sky diving, quad biking and sand boarding.  Rocko and I are going quad biking on the dunes so it should be really fun.  You can drive up the side of them and go as fast as you want so we are both really looking forward to it.  Not sure if we will be able to take pictures or not but should be incredible.

Swakopmund is so German.  There are German flags everywhere and the people here speak German, menus are in German....it seems really strange to be in Africa but feel like you are in Europe.

We are currently sleeping in dorms which is really nice.  We are sharing a room with a really nice couple from the UK and are going out to dinner for the next couple of nights.  A nice change from eating off of metal plates every night:)

Internet access has been difficult because we have been staying at a lot of really remote campsites so I'm not sure if we will be able to update until we get to Cape Town but we have been writing every night so that we make sure not to forget anything.  Hard to believe that we have less than a week left!

Love and miss everyone...wanted to make sure that you guys knew that we were still alive :)
