The nicest campsite so far

Today we spent most of the day driving to get to Etosha National Park. Etosha is a vast reserve that surrounds a central salt depression or 'pan'. The pan is seasonally full of water but the park maintains year-round water holes for the mammal species. As I am writing this I am sitting by a water hole watching a dazzle [group] of zebra drink and an elephant is staring at me. Rocko is video-taping the sights. We just finished watching a giraffe drink and huge families of elephant communicating around the water. This is easily the nicest park that we have been to so far. The park has lights on the waterhole at night so I am really excited to see what animals will be visiting it once the sun goes down.
Tomorrow we will be spending the day on a game drive but I can't see how it will even compare to what i am looking at right now.
We have only ten days left of our tour and I can't believe that we will be home in less than two weeks!
Love and miss everyone
Brett and Robin

...glad to hear that you're out there having fun. I've enjoyed reading the entries and looking at the pictures, lots and lots of nice shots. You should be able make some pictures to hang on the walls....be safe, see you when you get back
