Today we drove through the border to Namibia. One of the most interesting things about what we have seen is how much the countries are changing into ones that look similar to Canada or the US. We stopped today at Windhoek which is the capital of Namibia and has a real German influence. There is very little foot traffic here compared to what we saw in Kenya or Malawi and is seems as though most of the people own cars. We spent two hours today walking through the city and stopping to get a coffee [something that we haven't been able to do since we left].

We then went to our hostel where we stayed in dorms with some of the other people in our group. It is so nice to sleep in a bed even if you are sleeping in your sleeping bag :)]. We all dressed up for a group dinner at a restaurant called Luigi the Fish. They served incredible food and because the exchange rate is so good we were able to have some wine and a really gourmet meal. It was nice to get to eat inside and talk with everyone.

Tomorrow we leave Windhoek for our last national park and our last game drives in Africa.
