Another early start, nice breakfast and then a long drive to Munich.

It was quite wet today and raincoats were required as we walked around the main shopping area of Munich - Marien Platz. Here we saw the Glockenspiel and climbed the tower of an old church (all 306 steps) to get the full 360 degree view.

Another long drive after lunch to Innsbruck, home of two past winter Olympics.  The town is very scenic as it rests between the majestic Alps.  Rob feels like she has stepped back in time and walked into a fairy tale. It is a beautiful looking town

As with the rest of Europe, there is much history to be told by our Tour Director, Luigi.  But frankly, we are over the history and just enjoy the wonderful scenery.

After a quick walking tour of Innsbruck, we join a couple of other Aussie couples for Schnitzel and Strudel at a local pub – a very pleasant way to finish the day.

It stays light here until around 10pm. Feels a bit unusual to finish dinner and it still to be light.
