Decided we woud do a day trip to Victoria, back in Canada. The ferry left from Port Angeles & took 90 minutes, across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It is a vehicular ferry as well but we left the motorhome down by the wharf for $6 for the day. Victoria is the capital of BC & is a very pretty city & easy to walk around in the city centre. Some of the buildings are very old & a lot of people just go over for the day. It was a beautiful day for walking around, the sun was out but it was quite windy & cool.
We had a few dollars left in Canadian money so bought lunch & a few other things. We still can't get used to the fact that the price you pay for things is not the price that is on the ticket, everything is plus tax so the last thing we bought today we were scrounging for cash as we wanted to use all our Canadian dollars.
We worked out we have crossed the border into Canada 5 times
