Another hearty breakfast (hang on a minute this is not the UK, no full english here, but continental (dried up crusty bread roll with no butter as Brunty will say) and a morning trip to visit friedrichshafen
a small village on the banks of Lake Constance. Friedrichschafen is famous for its Zepplin museum.
The afternoon sees us make the short journey north via a lake cruise to Meersberg with its baroque churches and then the highlight of the day a visit to the outdoor swimming complex on Lake Constance Shoreline.
"A large thermal pool with whirl recliners and massage jets connected to an outdoor pool with a panoramic view of Lake Constance and the Swiss Alps
The adventure area with its underwater current, a rock wall with waterfall cascades and a "water mushroom" is loads of fun"
After an afternoon of water and sunbathing (hopefully according to the weather !) and swimming we return to the hostel in time for an evening meal.
Thats not all folks, we then depart for Weingarten to play the evening away in the public park
Well it's another hot one 24 degrees full sun and it's only 9am !!!
The dried up breadrolls for breakfast have not materialised and instead a full spread of cereals ham and cheese etc etc, so food in the morning has been quite fantastic
We are currently still in full spirits with everyone on a high, especially after been treated to a huge firework display last night.
There are still however a few tired people not surprised with 7am Starts and 11pm to bed with full on days, don't expect to get them out of bed before midday next week !!
Anyway today sees us currently on the coach to the "led" zeppelin museum followed by a steamer trip on the lake.
The size of the zepplin was astonishing !!! And the lounge even had a window that opened !
