Tarita and I headed off to Medewi Beach on the west coast of Bali for some surfing. We stayed at a very modest (!) hotel but the beach was right on the doorstep. The first morning we made our way down to the black sand amongst fishing boats on the beach and had to walk across rocks which gave us some cheap foot reflexology. The paddle out was long but we made our way to a nice beach break where I got in a couple of good waves. Tarita was saving up for the reef break and got a good share of waves.
