Another short entry here, as I am knackered!

I arrived in Córdoba on Tuesday and managed to meet up with Simone fairly straightforwardly. We're in a hostel that's nice and central and full of interesting characters! We spent yesterday just wandering round and soaking up the atmosphere - this place is so much more European than anywhere else I've been so far.

And today we did an organised hike in Los Gigantes, which is about 2 hours' drive from Córdoba. The landscape in the mountains is very sparse and it was actually much colder than we expected, but still very sunny - we had a nap after completing the first peak and now all have a rosy red glow as a result! The second climb was a killer up to 2,300 m, and was more climbing than walking and probably against all sorts of European safety regulations. But we survived!

We've met some really nice people here in the hostel and we are hoping to hook up with them again in Buenos Aires when we get there on Saturday morning. Tomorrow, we're just going to take it easy then catch the 11 pm coche cama there (you get meals and CHAMPAGNE! It's crazy!).
