We passed through Salzburg, saw the Salzburg (the Salt Castle, just guessing?), and crossed the border into Germany. We are now in the country of Eisbein, sauerkraut und so weiter. The hotel is on the shore of Lake Chiem (Chiemsee in german). Spotted a Goosander shortly before we reached the hotel. The scenery from out of the restaurant is quite good, a lake with the snow covered Alps spanning the horizon. We are now really getting close to our new home, or old home (in Tanja's case). A few more nights, and then we will collect Robert's mother in Teteringen and drive on to Heemstede. But we will still write some more entries into our virtual child, the weblog. Marx meets Johnnie Walker and Shakespeare: Armchair travellers of all countries unite, keep reading.
