So here I am in South America! OLA! After NO SLEEP and an 11 hour sweet flight. Met a couple of girls from Ireland at the airport and found this hostel with them after getting RIPPED OFF in the taxi (payed over three times the going rate - oh well!).

In the airport I felt as rebellious as a smoker in a cinema...why? Not wearing a mask of course! It was a bit surreal. The airport workers at the front line all had em as well as a good few passengers.

So - arrived at a first hostel and it was full but got directed to this place which is a very nice YHA hostel with free internet and bed and breakfast. Still havent worked out the money yet but think this is about 9,000 pesos, or 9 dollars a night or something... not sure if thats US dollars or what?

Anyway - here safe - off to try and kip in the dorm now and boost my immune system from a long flight with people wearing masks on it. Might take some Echinnecea too!

PS - not sure if this entry will be behind my other one time wise, I just went back into yesterday by jumping the date line - wahoo!!!
