It would take a better writer than me to describe the Grand Canyon. We went on a talk about how it was formed and the speaker suggested just say "big pretty" and that is about it. It is impossible to do it justice in words.

I was expecting to look over the side of a big canyon and see a river far below and that would be that but there was far more to it than that. It is just too big and there is too much to take in. Emma rates it as the most spectacular thing she has seen on the trips (apart from me walking James Bond like out of the surf of course!?) My choice would still be the Barrier Reef but only just.
