We left Nick's with 3½ days to get to the Exit festival in Serbia (more on that later).  The first half day we got precisely 60km, parked up for a rest (there'd been a few late nights in Greece), and decided we were just too tired to drive any further, so parked up for the night.  Part-timers, eh?

We crossed into Macedonia (again, they didn't spot we had no insurance! Saved us $70 for a one and a half days) and thought even though we were behind schedule we'd have enough time to detour to famous Lake Ohrid in the south west of the country, a massive expanse of water 300m deep.  Of course we took the most scenic (and most windy mountain) road, switchbacking up and down the hills, but the views were unreal.  A really stunning part of the world as we wound down the other side with the sun setting over the mountains behind the lake.  Got to love this campervan lark - we found this raised bluff over the lake, got the chairs out, had a wine and watched the sunset.  Had the whole place to ourselves.

Next morning we drove into the town of Ohrid, the spiritual home of orthodox Macedonians.  Set right on the lake, cobbled streets lead to quaint old churches overlooking the water, and lovely little cafes.  Sent a few emails over a coffee (Macedonia is set to become the world's first completely wi-fi covered country apparently), then drove through the mountains and entered Kosovo.
