Trogir is a tiny 15thcentury Unesco heritage island just north of Split, endowed with a lovely market and old town 'island' (check out the pic where we did emails). We were a bit disappointed as we really wanted to organise a 3-4 day yacht trip but it was too early in the season (which is really only late July and August), and they tend to be package tour type week long affairs. But we did manage to find one company who ran day trips to some nearby islands with some fresh fish for lunch, which was good. Trust our luck that temps everyday had been in high 20's/ low 30's, and the day we went out it was overcast and a bit rainy. Still, we had a great laugh, despite the fact that with us were 30 odd sour faced Latvians who couldn't crack a smile if they tried (and we did try to get them to!). The local wine was in never-ending supply, and we teamed up with a German couple, Carl-Heinz and Maria, who were as up for a laugh as we were. The scenery was still beautiful, perfect for island cruising, although next time we're hiring a yacht, for sure.
