Not just your standard run o' the mill caves here.  These caves are absolutely huge, several kilometres long and several hundred metres deep where the underground river has carved out this bloody great canyon - its just like Journey to the Centre of the Earth - incredibly spooky - there's this little footbridge across and you can't really even see the bottom.  Can't do it justice on film, but highly recommended! From there we continued down to the Adriatic coast to Piran, a beautiful old Venetian fishing village.  Next stop Croatia!  Look out!!!

Oh, yeah - we're going to start a completely accurate, scientific based analysis of each country (well, with a drunken sample size of two - err, that's us), what they're good at and what they're not - so, here we go for Slovenia :
Slovenia's does a good bold hair dye (oh, the reds and purples on the women), a good mountain pass, a cyclist and a hiker, a walking pole, a motorbiker, and a hot chick
But doesn't do a good....err anything (yes, good lopsided start to this survey!)
