Luckily we got a beauty of a van in a couple of weeks, so we were able to take a quick flight over to Northern Ireland with our good friends Kate and Simon from Perth (great way to spend your 30th, Kate!), who had hired a campervan themselves for 10 days. We saw it fit to tag along for 5 of those days while our own shaggin' wagon was being prepped and serviced.

The girls having a lie-in
Well, what a debauched display of Guiness consumption, to be sure!
Downing a few whiskeys at Bushmills
Another night on the black stuff
Kate's narcolepsy kicks in...again
Aaaaah!
Past the Giant's Causeway, a surreal landscape of geometric rocks jutting into the ocean

Beautiful beach, Co Donegal
Kate whipping Simon into shape
Laaaaambs
sunny weather (but not quite 'get ya kit off' hot!), and to top it all, a town called "Muff"!
Love the town of Muff!
Top spot for a picnic
The pubs and the locals were absolute standouts - some of the friendliest we've ever met, and everyone had their tips on the best spots (and the best spots to get a tipple!)
Outside a top pub
Recommendations to head to County Donegal were well founded - the coast and villages were postcard perfect (and sooooo many lambs, but not one on a pub menu!).
Cold early morning
Catalogue shot
Top of Co Donegal
Donegal city centre
Dun-something castle
Another picnic?
Sunset in Co Donegal
Lovely colours at sunset
We sadly said goodbye to Kate and Simon in Donegal town (our livers less sadly!) and our re-inititation into life of a campervan-meister!
Irish butchers have marketing bullshit skills
