Caught a couple of local trucks north east in the afternoon, and stayed at a guesthouse in the throes of a local party - as soon as we got off the truck they were handing us shots of beer, spoonfeeding us Laap and insisting we sing and dance along to Lao's top hits - crazy stuff!  Before we knew it, the sun had gone down and we were the worse for wear.
