Hi all,

It seems like so much has happened since we last wrote even though it has only been about 48 hours! So we last left off when we were leaving Orlando.

We did get the taxi on time...

We did get to the airport on time...

However, because of the bad weather (remember I said it had been raining?) the flight had been delayed for an hour. We had to change our tickets, and the woman at the desk said we would have 20 minutes to catch our connecting flight to Seattle, which would be unlikely. She booked us on to the flight in the morning and said we would have to spend the night in the airport; which we were just thrilled about.

We also had to pay extra baggage again! Which this time was $115 per bag!

We went through a mass of angry looking security people and waited in the departure lounge. When we eventually got on the flight, we were then told that we would be grounded for another 45 minutes because the tyre had a puncture (just something the nervous flyer wants to hear).

Almost everyone on the plane had a connecting flight (guess Atlanta is not that popular).

We took off over an hour late and the pilot went really quickly, I was watching the route on the seat back televisions, and the estimated time of arrival was getting quicker and quicker.

We landed about 9:10pm and my Dad text to let us know that our connection had been delayed by 20 minutes. We found out later that it had been delayed because the crew were late! The plane was taxiing for ages, but eventually we got off the plane, and walked briskly to gate A19. When we got there we were told it had been changed to gate A2.

We did indeed have to sprint through the departure lounge! We got to the gate with literally minutes to spare!

Anyway, we landed safely in Seattle, and got our free shuttle (yes we did have one this time!) to the hotel :)

Hope everyone at home is well.

Speak soon,
