Breige continues teaching us new moves in Qigong and repeating what we learned yesterday.
After Qigong the group is excited for another hour with Venerable Jampa. She does not disappoint with wise insights, helpful hints and thorough answers to our question. Our second meditation time is 26 minutes long, and I feel that I do much better than yesterday. My mind is not resisting to focusing on the present moment and my breath.
After lunch we have ample free time, some venture for walks, some have booked massage sessions, my mother and I return to the room and take a long nap
We are up in time for an aromatherapy class with Breige. She teaches us about essential oils, their properties, how to buy good ones at the store, and how to apply their healing properties at home. One of the participants feels a cold coming on so Breige prepares an eucalyptus breathing session for her: boiling water, with 2 drops of the essential oil, and a towel. The idea is to cover your head with the towel and breathe in the steam from essential oil and hot water. She feels better after 5 minutes, and next day does not seem to be under the weather, at least as much. Breige provides excellent hand outs for us to keep to use at home, I plan on making this my new hobby.
After dinner, we have an optional activity "Music evening with Mary". We opt out of the activity and go for another walk around the property, it looks different with the setting sun. Even after a long nap in the afternoon, I sleep as good as a baby. The rejuvenation program is doing its job.
