Japan is a great place to bike. For any of our friends who`re considering this type of trip (you know who you are) we definitely recommend it. But I do have to warn you, if there`s anything the japanese seem to care for less than a knife and fork it`s traffic laws! They seem so important to us but here they seem more of a nuisance, something that will simply keep you from getting from point A to point B in a timely manner. And the police have no use for enforcing them either. Not that either of us have even seen any police. Not a single police officer. Oddly enough, it makes me feel safe in a way.

So anyway, it`s kind of funny but one of us got hit by a car. Now, don`t be alarmed, we`re both perfectly okay. We thought we`d take this opportunity to turn misfortune into fun. We`d like everyone to write in our guest book on this page and vote for who you think was the victim of the unfortunate accident. I think you may have to register with our travel site but it`s quick and easy. And for those of you who vote correctly you`ll recieve a little prize..... my complete respect. And really, when you think about it, what gift could be better? It keeps on giving, if you know what I mean. And if you do then please tell me because I have no clue.

F.Y.I. Everyone will be able to read what you write in the guest book, which is half the fun actually.

1 vote for Jeremy!
If it wasnt my kid brother I'd be quite suprised, and wrong for not the first time. Somehow jeremy getting hit by a car in Japan just seems..., well, natural. You are a big target my friend. I woul also like to think that if Sara were about to be mauled by a raging metal beast that you would rush to her aid and throw yourself in the path of danger. A true henro hero!

Vote for Sarah
I can almost guarantee that it was Sarah that got hit by a car. I've played soccer with Sarah and it is not uncommon to see Sarah going down the field with complete abandon to whats going on around her. While Jeremy on the other hand is 'careful'. While he probably saw what was happening it was most likely from a distance too great to be of assistance.

My guess is...
You two have been feeling lonely and your mailbox has been empty. So as smart as I know you two are you thought of this ingenious plan to get people to reply. Nothing gets people moving like a little competition. Dannett says its Sarah because of her affinity for vehical accidents.

Well I am finaly chasing after you one page at a time. Figured I would take my hand at thinking who was stuck down by speeding car. (by the way all the entrys before this one are amazing So happy for you two I cant see stright! Sorry it took so long for me to read up)

OK well from the pictures you both look like you are happy and having fun with this... So My Guess is Sarah, Even over the years of seeing Jer fall down from a twisted ankle or cause some sort of self harm I think that if some poor tiny car from Japan hit the huge German/American Jeremy then the car and driver might be in bad shape.. LOL

It took me so long to get into the TravelPod stuff that I won't need to wait to find out.. SO off I go..
