Hola mis amigos!  Courtney and I are getting ready for our trip to Todos Santos, Mexico.  We rented a house on (vacation rentals by owner) awesome website where you can rent homes from actual owners.  Not a timeshare!  We found the most amazing villa (I call it a Mansion) on the website for super cheap because this is Hurricane season and it is super hot.  And when I say cheap I mean CHEAP!  Here is the website of the villa we are staying at... I think just from the website and pictures that amazing would be the word.  Hopefully this is the actual house we rented and not some roach coach on the side of the road.  We will let you know tomorrow.

We are leaving on Monday 7/25 from Houston to San Jose del Cabo on Continental Airlines.  I was able to upgrade to first class for free because of my frequent flyer status and since there was no one on this flight flying first class so was Courtney.  At the start of the this past week she could upgrade for the first leg of the flight for $640 to first class.  STUPID.  Then three days ago it went to $420... fat chance.  Well today when we checked in online it said "upgrade to first class for $69 because there are 9 open seats.  HECK YEA!  And we totally have seats right next to each other.  TOO AWESOME.
We take off at 10:30am and arrive into Cabo at 12:00.  We are renting a "compact car".  If it is better than the tooth then we are good.  Some of you were lucky enough to witness my car in college called the tooth.  1988 Toyota corolla blue front white in the back.  LOL.  We are going to the famous MEGA to stock up on groceries.  MEGA could almost put Wal-mart to shame.  Groceries I mean beer, wine, more beer, tequila, and that other stuff called food.  Then we are off to take a quick stop to Casa del Mar where we got married to have a margarita.  Then off to the villa.  We printed out the email for the directions to the villa, and wow do we need them.  Just to give you an idea of how remote we are, here are some of the the dirt road reset your odometer and look for the big cactus on your right side at kilometer .8, then turn left and go .5 kilometers till you see a brick wall on your right... .  LOVE IT cant wait.
They have Internet access so we are bringing our laptop to stay in touch.  But mostly we will be chillin and grilling at the pool then headed to the beach.  Sunburns and margaritas here we come!

In case some of you were wondering about D'Huez our french bulldog he is staying at my parents house.  This will be a vacation for him as well.  He is going to be super busy chasing cats, getting treats, chasing armadillos, squirrels, getting treats, riding in a pickup truck, checking emails and drinking coffee with my dad, watching old time movies and maybe if he is lucky animal planet. Did I mention treats.  He is going to need an exercise program when he gets back.  But wow, does he love it!

Hasta Luego mis amigos, mucho mas mana!  BESOS!!!!

Haha! the tooth..... Ah I miss that little molar. good times. Be careful to hang on to your cart at MEGA. Don't let it go crashing down the moving walkway. Stupid Americans, right? Have a ball- we are thinking of you and wishing we could have a rita with you at su casa!
