Started the day getting my clothes washed again, since I got bird poop on my clothes at Alcatraz.  Didn't run into the gay guy again (thankfully), and went to Boudin for breakfast, and they make some fantastic sourdough breads.  Nikki had a ham and cheese with egg on sourdough, and I had the french toast.  Nik's was far better.

Today we walked up to Coit tower, and I mean we walked up.  Most of the streets were at a 10 - 15% grade.  I was definitely feeling it by the time we got to the tower.  The main floor of the tower was painted as a mural of life of San Fran in the 1930s.  It was pretty cool.  In the parking lot there is a statue of Christopher Columbus looking at Alcatraz in the bay.  And everyone knows that CC discovered San Fran, right? :)

Afterwards, we wandered down to Mario Bohemian Cigar store.  And strangely enough, it doesn't sell cigars.  It has Italian sodas, focaccias, etc.  We heard from a friend that they have the best Italian sodas. I thought they were okay, but since I haven't had one before its hard if they actually were.

Off to see the baseball game, so we hop onto the bus and get about 10 blocks before get off since there is another parade on today.  Not sure what kind of parade it is, but not impressed that we had to walk the rest of the way to the stadium.  The blisters on my feet are starting to get to me.

We got a free Bruce Bochy bobblehead coming through the gates.  Gifts for Lucas and Zach :)

Baseball game was fantastic.  We sat in section 105, row 24 and seats 7 and 8.  If you drew a line from 3rd through 1st base, we would almost be on that line.  Awesome view of the vertical strike zone as well.  The Giants were down 2-0 by the 6th and made a comeback in the 7th and 8th for a point apiece.  Off to extra ends we go, and in the bottom of the 11th, the Giants get a RBI to win the game.  Most of the fans were pretty good, and not a lot of chipping between rival fans, unlike going to a Stamps vs Riders game at McMahon stadium where it gets violent at times.

After the game, we rode the subway to the trolley car station, and rode that back to the wharf.  We went back to Boudin's for supper, and there was a pretty long wait.  But, we weren't in a hurry, so off to the wine tasting bar while we wait.  The winery flogging their wares was Buena Vista and it was very good.  We had a flight of the reds starting with the pinos and ended with the syrahs.  Our favorite was the Swan Pino, and it was pretty yummy.  Wish we could bring back more wine, but the taxes are about 80% of the price.  So a $40 bottle would cost about $72 (40 + 32) coming back across the border.  Insane.  I think we'll stick to buying 4 bottles for the crossing and drinking the rest :)  The lady at the counter gave a 15% discount since it was our honeymoon (score), and the Swan will be one of our four to come back to Canada.

While we waited for our table, we ran into an older couple from Chicago (my favorite hockey team), and chatted about some of the wineries around Napa, and they suggested a couple for us as well.  They were really interesting people.

All these busy days with early mornings and late evenings are taking their tolls on us.  We ended up in bed by 9:30 and sleeping 5 minutes later.
