We took an early morning flight to Edinburgh and got to the hostel at about 10 AM on Monday. We couldn't check in until 2, so the boys went out to walk around the city, while the girls and I stayed at the hostel and sat in the lounge to get some reading done. The hostel was really nice..my favorite by far. We went out a couple hours later and walked around the city and got some groceries. Everything in the city looks like a castle. It's a big city without that modern, busy feeling.
On Tuesday, Autumn, Liz, and I took a free tour of Edinburgh. It was great and we heard a lot of interesting historical stories. Later in the afternoon, we met up with the guys and hiked up to a spot just below Arthur's Seat which looks out over all of Edinburgh and the North Sea. It was really windy, which made it a hard walk up, but it was so worth it. On Tuesday night, we met up with Amy and Daniel. These are two people who live in Scotland that Cameron knows through his neighbor. It was fun to meet them and talk to them about Scotland.
