We took a three hour bus ride across Ireland to the west coast city of Galway. It was nice to get out of the city and see the Irish countryside; miles and miles of sheep pastures and stone walls. We got to Galway and the weather was very windy and rainy. We decided to take a hop on-hop off bus tour around the city. We got off at Galway Bay, part of the Atlantic Ocean. It was so cold with the wind spraying water off of the Ocean. Later on the radio, we heard there were gailforce winds that day. We had a good time fighting the wind and walking along the coast.. Then we got some hot chocolate to warm up while we waited for the bus. We got back on the bus and saw the rest of the tour, which included seeing Claddagh Village, where the Claddagh ring originated from.

We walked down the street where vehicles can't drive and there are lots of little shops. Then we got on the bus and headed back to Dublin. This Irish guy sat next to me on the bus. It was interesting to try and talk to him and understand each other because of our different accents.
