We felt a little lazy today after our big walk yesterday and after the Sea Urchin situation we thought it best to just take it easy, direct orders by Nurse Laurie! Ryan was feeling okay today and just a little pain remains in the heel so we lounged around during the morning and grabbed the lounge chairs and hung by the pool for the day. We strolled down to the store a few times for drinks but other than that, the day was filled with sun, sea and reading!
Before we knew it, the day was gone and it was time to get ready for dinner. We so enjoy the relaxation by the pool and if you can believe it, we are actually getting the chance to read a book from cover to cover! Neither of us have sat down and had the time to do any reading with our hectic schedules and here we are, Ryan has finished 2 books and Laurie straddling 3!
Tomorrow we will visit the 3rd and largest of the Elafiti Islands of Sipan.

A good read
Nothing like some good reading time in the sun! Karl, Jilly and I are headed to the beach tomorrow to spend a long weekend. I'm taking plenty of books and the weather outlook is all sun! Whoo hoo! We won't be snorkeling though, don't want to go near that frigid Oregon water! Love, Sammy

Glad to hear the patient is better. Today we enjoyed the Manzanita parade - quite the LARGE crowd and Sammy and Karl could not believe the turn out! Fireworks were viewed on the deck of the Stone's house - perfect view and atleast 25 minutes of sparkle in the sky. We thought we were quite clever to eat dinner el fresco on the deck, enjoy the sunset and turn to watch the show! Then of course...get on the jammies and hit the hay! No schlepping of chairs, sand or shivers this year....record breaking heat at the beach and a beauty of a night to be outside enjoying the splendor of good friends and clean air. We think we might be in Croatia or something. Have fun! Jilly Poo xox

Just got back from a Creativity in Science retreat sponsored by Dan Weiden at Caldera Art Center in Sisters, OR. His recommended books included 'From Good to Great', the same one you recommended!! Pete's also reading 'Blink' also on DW's list of top reads, and I brought home Wikinomics...Perhaps we should go to the Adriatic to get all this reading done!!! LOL!!!
The 4th was quiet...but back to busy times at work today!
