Bonjourno from bed in Italy!
We spent the day in bed today and honestly did not know what our surroundings even looked like today!
Ryan's fever dropped down to 101 this morning and eventually broke to normal around 11am today! Laurie brought him breakfast from a very sweet Maria Theresa who also gave Laurie instructions on where the pharmacy was so that we could go get some cold medicine down Ryan as the Dayquil from home was not strong enough! Poor Baby!
Laurie was up all night fighting off mosquitoes with lesson number one - shut the windows at night in Italy! Laurie shut them in the middle of the night as she was losing the battle against these pesky bugs and had to spray down with her bug spray to get a little sleep
So we are both a mess - Ryan honking his horn and a sneezing mess (Laurie stopped counting on the train at 20 sneezes in a row) and Laurie using up all the toilet paper in the hotel bathroom! We are hoping for a better day tomorrow with both of us "stopped" up.
Ryan ended up sleeping the entire day which was good as he needed to push this head cold out of his body! Laurie played nurse to get his fever to break and to keep him from getting outside too early. Ryan is a stubborn one and kept saying " I am okay - just a few more hours of sleep". Right - he was in denial and good thing Laurie was forceful and did not let him out of bed! Off to get medicine for both of us at the pharmacy and experienced the HOT day (humidity was ~85-95% according to the locals). It was miserable to just as well that we took a day off in our refreshingly cool air conditioned room!
Luca and Maria have been super friendly and helpful
Tomorrow we plan to see where we are staying, get out of the room and back in action with maybe a day trip to Capri or Positano.
Today's walk: 2.5 miles
Total for the journey (190 miles, 35 days)
Love,
Laurie and Ryan

B&B room in Sorrento
! She eventually turned her sheet into a mosquito tent and hoped her diarrhea would stop! She has had on again off again struggle (it all started with that damn Indian food in Krakow!) and today was no exception but today she has run out of her special Cipro antibiotic, the drug which kills off most nasty things. So we are both a mess - Ryan honking his horn and a sneezing mess (Laurie stopped counting on the train at 20 sneezes in a row) and Laurie using up all the toilet paper in the hotel bathroom! Bathroom with slow drip everything!
! Laurie walked back to the restaurant from last night (Là Osteria del Buonconvento) and were nice to fix us a "to go" meal of pizza and pasta with pesto for us to eat back in our quarantined room! Ryan was feeling much better and Laurie had vitamin B6 on board to ward off the bugs (and some tummy pills) - all was good!Tomorrow we plan to see where we are staying, get out of the room and back in action with maybe a day trip to Capri or Positano.

Fooey! I hope you are feeling better by your next post! I'm a little behind.
Linda was here and we had a grand time at Black Sheep Gathering!!
Did you know there is a cat town...I think you missed it, as you didn't go to Cinque Terre, but it's Corniglia...will you be going there? The cats all come out at 5am and the stores are cat themed!!
Feel tons better!! Healing vibes being sent!!
