Rafted through the caves in the dark. The roof of the caves are lit up with hundreds of glowworms that hang from the ceiling. Bumped into some people in the hostel that I met in Bay of Islands. I think that'll happen a lot here, it's a small enough place and people often tend to travel the same sort of routes.

I've been staying in a YHA hostel. They're very sterile, have no atmosphere, and not much fun. Think I'll steer clear of them in the future. The hostel where the parties are at are the one used by the Kiwi Experience, a tour bus company mainly aimed at younger people. Tomorrow Rotorua, then Taupo the next day for Christmas.
