Check this. I met Groove Armada!! We were in a bar round the corner from our hostel knocking back cocktails when the barman asks us if we like Groove Armada. I told him they're one of my most favourite bands, so he takes us to the tables outside where GA are having a drink. I had a bit of a chat with them (I was a bit drunk so can't remember exactly what I said but I'm sure I sounded super cool, yeah right!) and they invited us to the club they were going to that night. But alas, we had to go and get Grudge girl from the hostel and then when we arrived at the club we couldn't find them. Stupid bint (this is not and unfare comment in any way what so ever). But still, I got to meet Groove Armada. I later found out that they were DJing at one of the local clubs.

I got chatting to some Australians today who went to their gig. They said it was an amazing night and although I hadn't gone I did get to tell them that I had met them in a bar.

Lewis and Charlie flew home yesterday. After I left I went and bought my bus ticket to Mendoza and then took the Subte (Metro) to the other end of town where the Boca Juniors stadium is. Although called Boca juniors they're not a junior team, they're 2nd in the Argentinian Premier League at the moment. I was under the impression that they were going to be playing Independiente, who are 3rd in the league, it would have been a great game but when I arrived the surrounding area was far too quite for a football day and the stadium was all closed up. I later found out that the game was put back a week for some reason. Stupid Internet.

Buenos Aires is such a cool city. So laid back and European. Definitely one of my most favourite places in South America so far. We've been to some great bars and restaurants, watched Tango in one of the many squares; met some great people, and also some fruit cases. Every normal traveller, and I use normal in the loses sense of the word, is outnumbered 3 to 1 by eejits. Have seen lots of fantastic monuments......from taxis on the way to clubs or bars. Lots of people get stuck in this place and it's easy to see why.

That last line has Lonely Planet written all over it. Wankers.
