so for breakfast the b&b owner sue (http://www.dunfallandy.co.uk/) had a menu for us to choose from, mom and dad chose fish...i of course chose full traditional breakfast!!! which was white pudding, black pudding, haggis (yum), scrambled egg, apple & sage sausage fresh from the butcher, and bacon (and not the whimpy US bacon!) yum!!! Sue's husband then got us a route planed out for driving to Glasgow that would take us on the scenic tour as well as allow for a few stops along the way.
We stopped at Queens View for a fantastic scenic view )http://www.visitrannoch.com/queens-view.htm) and on the drive through the mountains it snowed, and clouded and shined and all kinds of weather...simply beautiful! What a great drive...can't remember the names of the other places we stopped...haha at this point, so your lucky your getting any of this at all!!!
Needless to say we made it to Glasgow and set out on finding ourselves a place to stay..we tried this little town near the airport called Paisley, but unfortunately there were NO hotels to be found! or b&b's for that matter! apparently since the town is so old they have zoning against it. so we drove to the airport grounds and found a Premier Travel Inn and set up camp there. Mom helped me return the rental car which was super close to the hotel, and we had our last supper at the hotel and stayed at seperate rooms. got my last words of wisdom and concern from the folks that night :-)
