One week before setting off, and it's time to start the blog and do all the final last minute preparations. Off to buy the malaria tablets and pack in the sun cream...

The confirmed itinery for the whole year is as follows:

18-Mar-07 - London (UK) to Quito (Ecuador)
[overland travel from Ecuador to Peru, Bolivia, and then Chile]
15-Jul-07 - Santiago (Chile) to Auckland (NZ)
[overland travel from Auckland to Christchurch]
26-Aug-07 - Christchurch (NZ) to Nadi (Fiji)
11-Sep-07 - Nadi (Fiji) to Sydney (OZ)
[overland Sydney to Cairns]
28-Oct-07 - Cairns (OZ) to Ayers Rock (OZ)
[overland Ayers Rock to Darwin]
18-Nov-07 - Darwin (OZ) to Singapore
[overland travel to Malaysia; Thailand; Cambodia; Vietnam; and finally China, via Hong Kong/Shanghai/Xian/Beijing]
16-Mar-08 - Beijing (China) to London (UK).

Right... all done and ready to head off to the airport for first stop Ecuador.

How are you two little explorers? Well I hope.

I am having a lovely time in suny Chester, which is actually very, very damp at the moment.
