Drove right into the centre of Glasgow this morning and parked in a multi-story carpark after checking out of the Hotel. Walked to the mian square and into the tourist Beureau for some info on the local sights - particularily interested in seeing some of Charles Renne Macintosh's buildings. Settled on catching the local tourist loop bus which seemed to go past everything we wanted to see. Interesting commentary as we toured some of the old parts of Glasgow. Got off the bus near Macinitosh's famous Glasgow School of Art building which is still in use today as an Art school. Great tour of the building (one of my alltime favourites) - great to be able to see some of these thing 'in the flesh'. Back onto the bus and round to the main square, walked back to the car and decided we needed to keep moving for Edinburgh. Quick jaunt down the road and we were at our next hotel. Walked into town and had dinner, then home past Edinburgh Castle which was pretty lit up in the night sky above the city.
