After saying goodbye to Rachael (promising not to make it another 32 years before we meet again!), we packed up the car, kindly on loan form Uncle, and headed WNW to Blackpool, to meet up with Mickey and Lewis. Fairly uneventful drive, with a fair bit of rain along the way. Arrived in Poulton-Le-Fylde, but couldn't find Mickey's street (typed it into GPS wrong -doh) so parked in the town centre and Mick & Loo came to meet us and escort us home. Much excitement and chatting ensued - boys loved the 2 old dogs Ben & Lucy, and the ring-in Charlie. Scrumptious lasagne for tea before retiring to our hotel.
