After a frustrating start to the day trying to find a service station that was open (on a Monday!) we finally managed to get the local self-service pumps to work and were on our way - headed for Venice. Set the GPS to avoid the toll roads for a while, so we had a very scenic (but probably longer than necessary) drive up out of the coast, passing through lots of hillside villages that obviously get a bit of snow in the winter - judging by the height of the roadside guide posts. Back onto the Autostrada and into Camping Fusina, on the shores of the lagoon overlooking the sinking city. After setting up camp, inquired at reception about the location of nearest supermarket (Panorama) and off to re-stock - wine supplies were getting low you know!
