Packed up camp and around to CarGlass Rome to finally? have the car window fixed. Arrived a bit early for the 8:30 appointment so had a cup of coffee, then in to drop off the car. They did actually have the correct glass this time but refused to start work until guaranteed payment . . . long story short we paid, and the car was fixed. After another frustrating CarGlass experience, hit the road, headed for the Cinque Terre, as we'd missed it the first time round on the way to Pisa area. Extra slow trip on the Autostrada - 3 lanes coming to a standstill numerous times - no value for the tolls today! Called in to La Spezia looking for campsites. Tourist bureau suggest 40 min drive over hills to Levanto which we did - very pretty drive too, through little hillside villages. First campsite we came too had a site for us so we set up camp for the night.
