Up early this morning and walked into town to the Acadamia Gallery to see Michaelangelo's statue of David. Beat the crowds so no queue to get in. Magnificent sculpture, definitely lives up to it's reputation. Back to campsite and checked out, then drove 'round to CarGlass Florence to have the window fixed. Turns out they had ordered the wrong glass! Highly frustrating, but not much we could do but continue on to Rome, where we were assured the proper window would be - but not until Saturday! After excellent Plus Camping site here in Florence, decided to head for the Rome equivalent. Arrived late afternoon and booked in for 3 nights.
