Packed up camp quite quickly today, so drove into the centre of
Toulose, navigating the very narrow back streets and found a parking
spot.  Walked to the main square, bought some stamps at the Post
Office  - my French consisted of "l'australie", "postcard", "postage",
"par avion?" and a very poor attempt at "12", but I did manage to say
"please, thankkyou and goodbye" correctly at least!. Bought some fruit
and veg at a local market we spotted on the way in, and M bought some
bread at a local patisserie.  Thomas and I went to a local pharmacy
(coz he's been suffering a bit from hayfever) and managed to buy some
antihisthemine tablets - at least i hope thats what they are Narrow streets in Toulouse

Decided
I wanted to drive over the Pyrennese to Spain, so that's what we did -
even though it probably took a bit longer than necessary . . .;-)  was
sort of hoping to go via Andorra le Vella, but managed to miss the turn
and ended up going straight through one of the many long tunnels (up to
4K long!) and into Spain. Thought the GPS was leading us astray, but
true to his word, led us straight? to Camping Playasol, about 35K north
of Barcelona, where we pitched camp, after a long but very scenic day .
