Decided on a rest day after busy Paris. Nice campsite with plenty of
facilities here in val de loire.  Heaps of washing to do, so loads in
the machine.  Campsite looked a bit like a chinese laundry, but the
weather was hot so drying clothes no problem.  Lunch and a swim in the
pool. Decided on an afternoon drive, so headed for Chateau Chambord. 
Set the Garmin for the most direct route, which included some beautiful
quaint (very narrow!) French villages on the way.  Impressive Chateau,
nice and cool in the hot afternoon sun. Back to camp along some  pretty
roads, and through Blois - vowed to come back soon and explore some
more.  Gourmet sausages for tea, and bottle of the local red.  How's
the serenity . .
